9th July 2019 – CARDIFF, U.K. – Lextox Drug and Alcohol Testing (Lextox), a member of SYNLAB, today announced that the company has received official confirmation from the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) that their accreditation to the internationally recognised standard ISO 17025 has been achieved and maintained for an eighth consecutive year.
UKAS is the only national accreditation body which has been recognised by the government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.
In order for the accreditation to be maintained, Lextox was subject to an evaluation by UKAS assessors earlier this year. The visit was successful and Lextox is accredited to test for a wide range of drugs and the alcohol markers, EtG and FAEE, in hair.
