Introduction

When a result is issued, Lextox understand this is not the end of the case, and most likely to be the very start.

The science of hair testing is accepted in the family court system; however, it is a very complex science. No two results are the same, as there are a lot of external factors that can affect what a result means. So, what do Lextox offer once the result has been issued?

Whilst our Expert Reports are thorough and written for the lay person, we still offer the following technical support, should the need arise.

If time is not of the essence and / or you require something in writing, we can still help. Lextox will answer any written query submitted in laymen’s terms, to help you and the courts understand what the results mean. Once results are issued, donors often come back with explanations and circumstances around how the results may have occurred. If this is the case and more information comes to light, we can provide further clarification and guidance around this, so this can be submitted to court alongside the Expert Report. In the majority of cases there is no additional charge for this, and we will respond to such queries within 5 working days.

Call Upon Us

Whilst it is rare – sometimes the courts will require oral evidence in a case. As we have a large team of Experts, Lextox will always be able to provide an Expert to give evidence. All our Experts have received court training and we can attend remotely or in person as the court requests. We provide clear and concise oral evidence and are fully aware of our duties to the court. We also understand that cases may change direction suddenly so can always attend to provide evidence with minimal notice, to ensure that your client’s case is heard and to prevent any delays.

So, once a result is issued Lextox will not leave you in the dark and will support you with any further Expert advice you may require.
